Shopping on YumShare
Shopping on YumShare achieves lower price for goods by bulk buying. You can get these bulk buying discounts without having to bulk buy yourself, by joining a YumShare club and buying together with the other members.
If you want to you can buy one packet of your favourite cookies and a bottle of tasty apple juice, there is no minimal order amount for members. The clubs have regular club shopping lists, run by a club organiser and then you just pitch in your personal shopping list, large or small.
YumShare is made of shopping clubs and each club has a single club organiser. Club organisers then setup club shopping lists, each with a specific wholesaler and deadline. Club members then add their personal shopping lists to the club shopping lists.
How it works!
Club member
To shop on YumShare you need to be a member of a clubs shopping list. Once you’ve joined a club shopping list, you can go shopping with the wholesaler the shopping list is associated with. When the club shopping list deadline closes you’ll be asked to pay the club organiser for your order. Your club organiser will then inform you of a date you can pick up the goods from the clubs pick up location.
Please note that all payment by club members go to the club organiser and not to YumShare.
-
Find a club
Once you’ve logged into YumShare you need to request a membership of a club that’s nearby and convenient for you. You can search for clubs in the ‘clubs’ tab to the top right of your browser window, and then select ‘Request Membership’ to the right of each club listed.
-
Joining a club shopping list
Once you a member of a club you can join one of its club lists by visiting the clubs home page and selecting join list.
-
When shopping on a club shopping list, you get a view which shows the ‘club shopping list’ and your own ‘personal shopping list’, side by side.

Your ordered items will only qualify for purchase if the product has all its slots filled. The number of order slots varies for each product, from one bottle for a beauty product to twenty five slots for a sack of organic arborio risotto rice.
-

Each product on the club shopping list has to fill all of its slots to qualify for purchase when the shopping list deadline closes the list.
-

-
How the shopping list works
Each club shopping has a deadline after which no more shopping can take place, this is set when you start the list.
The shopping list has a minimum order value which the shopping list must be over on the deadline date for the club shopping list to be processed. This minimum order amount varies with different wholesaler.
Items on the club shopping list only qualify to be purchased on the deadline date if all their order slots have been filled. The number of order slots varies for each product, from one bottle for a beauty product to twenty five slots for a sack of organic arborio risotto rice.
-
As your club members shop on the club list and you get closer to your deadline, you can message or make posts to your club members asking them to take up remaining order slots to enable products to qualify for purchasing on the deadline date.
-
The club shopping list deadline
When the club shopping list deadline is reached the list is closed.
All items that reached their order slots will qualify for purchasing.
